I made a few fabric flower pins using this great tutorial...isn't it wonderful how generous the online crafting community is? So many creative people sharing ideas and their crafts...I love it. The flowers were fun to make, though involved rather a lot of cutting...

The white one is my favorite
Feeling bold after the success of the flower pins, I attempted these pincushions...the brown one has been put to use already.

A nosegay of flower pincushions
I also made a couple more felt flower pins...here they are next to the first one on my Sophie bag.

Bag o' flowers
And here are some blooming daffodils on our back deck...daffodils are such happy flowers!
