Food for thought

I've noticed a trend in knitted (and crochet) foods lately...or maybe it's just because I love food and yarn and am drawn to both?

Some evidence:

• The cupcake hat and pincushions...alas, I still have not learned to crochet properly
• Sushi roll...also crochet
• Garden variety vegetables
• Slapstick pie, via not martha
• Doknit...knit doughnut!
• Fry up bag...eggs, bacon and sausage

And there's even a knitted digestive system...yech! Strange, but impressive.
