It's true! March 25 is Sweden's Waffle Day. In observance, I ate a waffle this morning. Not freshly ironed, but still yummy.
I finally made these cookies, and they are delicious! The brown sugar indeed produces a caramelly flavor and simultaneously crisp yet chewy texture...mm...but a few of them overbrowned...so I had to eat them. I like to pretend they're semi-healthy, what with the oatmeal, apricots, and pistachios.
I was feeling ambitious last night and worked on my sushi pajama pants. I learned that knit fabric is very difficult to work with, especially for an impatient novice seamstress like myself.
